It's Day 2 of the 10K Sprint. Today's focus is all about turning existing user behavior into a massive organic acquisition engine.
The Purpose
Gym-goers love showing off their progress. If you open Instagram Stories or TikTok, you'll see countless screenshots of workouts, fitness stats, and PRs. However, default screenshots are often cluttered and uninspiring.
We wanted to turn this natural sharing habit into free marketing for Alavita. By providing users with a beautiful, stylized, and customizable card summarizing their workout, we make the app easily spreadable (a core concept from Andrew Chen's growth frameworks).
What We Shipped
We built the Shareable AI Workout Card system:
- 5 Premium Themes: Added selectable styles that users can cycle through with a tap:
- Dark Minimal: Clean black background with tech-cyan accents.
- Neon Fire: High-contrast dark orange and red gradient.
- Gold Elite: Sleek black and gold luxury aesthetics.
- Arctic: Ice-blue and deep navy cold-therapy style.
- Deep Space: Vibrant purple and magenta cosmic look.
- Key Stats Display: The card automatically formats total sets, total volume (in lbs or kgs), total exercises, duration, and specific muscle groups trained.
- High-Resolution Offscreen Capturing: Integrated a
RepaintBoundarycapturing engine that converts the customized preview widget into a 3x resolution PNG file on-the-fly. - Native Sharing Integration: Connected to iOS/Android system shares for one-click publishing to Instagram Stories, TikTok, or iMessage.
- Discrete Branding: Placed a clean "Powered by Alavita" watermark with our custom logo at the bottom of every card.
The Goal
Every time a user shares a card to their Instagram Story or sends it to a friend in iMessage, they are marketing Alavita. By making the cards look premium and aesthetic, users actually want to share them, creating a viral loop that brings new users to the app store.
See you tomorrow for Day 3!
